A jury in Chicago issued its verdict against Chicago police officer Jason Van Dyke for killing Laquan McDonald. He was found guilty of second-degree murder and 16 counts of aggravated battery, one for every bullet he fired into the body of the black teenager. His bail was revoked, and he is now a convicted felon.
