Delighted to hear you have an option that will put more resources toward journalism and less into the pockets of folks who live on fee income. Your fearless journalism and unwavering commitment to whistleblowers and hactivists and speaking truth to power will keep me following and supporting you wherever you go to produce some of the best reporting in a generation.

Big time kudos and thanks for the record of achievement to date and best wishes for an ever growing audience with an appetite for truth as you go forward!!! <3

As always, straight up and telling the whole story, Kevin. Thank you. I saw The Daily Poster make a similar move recently. Disappointing to hear how Substack is treating some of its founding members. I will publish there for free & not activate the paid levels. They won't get a dime from my readers or subscribers.

I'll use their platform to showcase work like yours - where people can subscribe using a platform that better supports journalists, invested in a better CMS, offers more flexibility & isn't chasing VC money. Sad about how you were being used to get to Rania, but completely fair to call it out.

Also may be time to look at yet another publishing platform...

Kevin, I'm writing on July 10. I'm writing here because there is no way to contact you via Ghost and I consciously chose to not join Twitter years ago.

This says @noreply (Ghost.) If I don't get a response I'll likely take steps to cancel. Too many media sources I used to enjoy have removed commenting and I will not further support them. The commenting feature is imperative and part of the new paradigm of communication. I'll not go back, particularly if I am paying for the subscription. Please contact me forthwith.

David, there's a problem with the commenting system that I had hoped would be worked out by now. I will get it fixed this week because you're right. Commenting, especially for paid subscribers, has to be available.

Thanks, Kevin. I inferred that it was a system (site) wide issue after getting on the current Dissenter page yesterday afternoon. It had me wondering if your site wasn't under an attack of sorts. Anyway, good show, thanks for responding promptly. I look forward to your work.
