While recognizing that WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange had valid grounds to appeal extradition to the United States, the British High Court of Justice refused to consider “fresh evidence” involving the CIA. On March 26, the High Court granted Assange a limited appeal but adjourned the decision so that the U.S. government could submit "assurances" related to the court's concerns.

I am appalled but not surprised, and again being asked to give assurances, that were already proved and stated they can not assure... the UK are complicit in drawing out illegal corrupt judicial processes and therefore complicit in the persecution and attack upon Assange.. exactly as Nils stated in his book.. he had to write that because ALL countries and institutions are failing us. Democracy is a farce.
The UK should stop its USA extradition treaty until the USA upholds its side of the agreement! America expects Britain to extradite whomever America demands but America is not prepared to extradite anyone the UK asks for,ie the woman who killed a young lad by driving on the wrong side of the road. An agreement is supposed to work for both sides not just one! I believe that the Lord chief justice is looking into the validity of the said agreement but unfortunately I only have the word of someone else I can't find any verification online or elsewhere
